Bergen Nano is a  joint initiative between EOV partner HVL and UIB (project lead)

Nanoscience involves the study of functional materials, systems or phenomena based on nano-scaled building blocks. With these building blocks, nanoscience explores how atoms and molecules can contribute in design of materials, components or systems with improved or new properties.nNanoscience and –technology is a generic field that function together with a broad array of scientific disciplines, with potential to affect many parts of society.

The purpose of nanoBergen is to:

– Connect the different scientific disciplines and environments within nanoscience in Bergen

– Encourage Collaborations

– Facilitate in the use of core facilities

– Organize meetings and information exchange, and to maintain this webpage

The nanoBergen network includes research within a wide range of fields related to nanoscience.
